Front Range Tour Track Event #1
Friday, December 12th, 3:00p
New Belgium Brewing Company
Before you head off to your holiday party, come and join the CSCMP Rocky Mountain Roundtable at the New Belgium Brewing Company’s production and distribution facility in Ft. Collins on Friday, Dec 12th!
Owned and operated locally but recognized nationally, this northern Colorado company has won accolades for both its world class beers (including the well-known Fat Tire Ale) and its dedication to sustainability, philanthrophy, and environmental stewardship. With an operating philosophy that includes minimizing the environmental impact of shipping their product and reducing their dependence on coal-fired electricity, come and see what’s different about New Belgium Brewing from a supply chain perspective.
With a group size limited to the first 20 attendees to register, this is a special opportunity to see this small batch processing, perishable beverage manufacturing operation up close. Join Logistics Director Nate Turner as we follow the flow of inbound materials through the brewing processes and on to the packaging and distribution functions before finishing with a discussion session and optional (but recommended!) tasting before dinner.
Registration and additional details will be announced soon, so put Dec 12th on the calendar and stay tuned for more information!
